Blue Knit Cap from Bundy (LAPD Item 38)

Dark blue knit cap recovered at the Bundy crime scene near the left-hand glove and Ronald Goldman's feet. Cataloged as LAPD Item 38, it was examined for hair and trace evidence; Douglas Deedrick testified that hairs from the cap were microscopically consistent with Simpson and that one Bronco carpet fiber was recovered by scraping, while other testimony and argument addressed dissimilar hairs and possible contamination or transfer.
