in Blue Knit Cap
Knit cap inside Bundy residence, not collected during defense walkthrough
Testimony described a dark blue or black knit cap pointed out during the August 27, 1994 defense walkthrough inside the Bundy residence; accounts placed it in a hallway box near Sydney's room, a second-floor closet, or a children's bedroom. Lange said it appeared to be a child's cap and was not seized, and another account stated that it was never photographed or booked and that its later whereabouts were unknown.
