Rolf Rokahr was an LAPD official photographer for crime scenes and testified as a witness in the criminal trial on September 5, 1995. He said he had known Detective Mark Fuhrman for about five years through homicide-scene work and estimated that they had worked together at 12 to 15 scenes; he also stated that Fuhrman had instructed him to take certain photographs of evidence. During direct examination by Peter Neufeld, Rokahr answered questions about determining the sequence of photographs and about camera counters, and he was subsequently cross-examined, redirected, and recross-examined; he also underwent direct examination in the civil trial on January 6, 1997.
