Bundy rear gate blood stains, LAPD Items 115/116/117

Three blood stains designated LAPD Items 115, 116, and 117 were collected from the rear gate at 875 South Bundy Drive on July 3, 1994. PCR testing excluded both victims and did not exclude O.J. Simpson; Item 117 yielded an estimated 150–166 nanograms of DNA and was reported as an eight-probe RFLP match in criminal testimony and a nine-probe match in civil testimony, while counsel disputed the delayed collection, DNA quantity, degradation, EDTA testing, and claimed June 13 observations.
