Officer Riske continues his direct examination, walking through his methodical handling of the crime scene: setting up the tape perimeter, searching Nicole's house (finding the children asleep, the melted ice cream, the candles and drawn bath), removing the children safely out the back past a Ferrari and through the garage, then escorting his supervisors Sergeant Rossi and Sergeant Coon around the scene to view the blood drops, bloody shoeprints, blood on the rear gate, and change near the Jeep. The testimony ends at a sidebar just as Clark asks a leading question framing the bloody footprints as leading from the victims toward the rear gate.
