Bronco driver's door handle blood spot (LAPD Item 1)
Blood stain on exterior of Simpson's white Ford Bronco driver-side door. A small spot above the driver's door handle, approximately one-quarter inch in size, first observed by Detective Fuhrman on June 13, 1994, pointed out to Detectives Vannatter and Phillips, and confirmed presumptively positive for blood by criminalist Dennis Fung using a phenolphthalein field test; designated LAPD Item 1 and cited as a basis for exigent-circumstance entry to the Rockingham estate.
