Matthew Schwartz was an attorney for Laura Hart McKinny who appeared in several proceedings during August and September 1995 concerning recordings, transcripts, access, admissibility, discovery, and protective orders. On August 10, he told the court that he and Ron Regwan represented McKinny and had brought twelve audio cassettes and two transcripts responsive to a subpoena duces tecum. Schwartz said he was prepared to turn over the materials and requested that no copies be made and that anything unused by the defense or prosecution be sealed to protect his client's proprietary interests. His later appearances included proceedings concerning Fuhrman-tape access and admissibility, McKinny's cross-examination, and a subpoena duces tecum and McKinny recording.
