People's 615 / Defense 1375–1376 — Peratis Home Interview Videotape
Videotaped July 27, 1995 home interview of Thano Peratis conducted by Deputy District Attorney Hank Goldberg with investigator Stephen Oppler present. The recording contains a 14-minute interruption between 3:59 and 4:13 p.m. and a resumed syringe demonstration. Portions were admitted for impeachment, while the experiment and extraneous hearsay were excluded; during the admissibility hearing, Peter Neufeld characterized the recording as showing Peratis recanting portions of his prior blood-draw testimony and demonstrating possible difficulty reading syringe calibrations.
