Dr. Lenore Walker was a psychologist and battered woman syndrome expert retained by O.J. Simpson's defense in the criminal and civil cases. In the civil trial, plaintiffs' counsel read selected portions of her deposition into the record. Walker said she began working on the criminal case in August 1994, spent about 60 hours with Simpson, and had worked approximately 30 to 40 hours on the civil case.
