Carmelita Simpson-Durio, O.J. Simpson's youngest sister, testified as a witness after stating that she had been in the courtroom throughout the trial. During direct examination by Robert Shapiro on July 10, 1995, she said she worked for De Salvo Trucking Company in San Francisco as an executive administrative assistant; Christopher Darden objected on relevance grounds to Shapiro's next question about how she maintained her job while attending court, and the court overruled the objection.
