OJ Simpson microcassette tape (~5 days post-murders, Schiller copy)

Microcassette tape recorded by OJ Simpson approximately five days after the June 12, 1994 murders, given to author Lawrence Schiller by Robert Kardashian along with a stack of other tapes. Schiller made a digitized copy to reduce background noise; both the original and the digital copy remained in Schiller's possession during civil proceedings. A subpoena seeking to compel production was quashed after Schiller asserted reporter's shield; an excerpt was played on national television.
