Faye Resnick was a friend of Nicole Brown Simpson and the author of “Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted.” Although Resnick did not testify in the criminal trial, the defense raised her drug use when seeking admission of related testimony and when questioning Detective Tom Lange about an alternative drug-related motive for the homicides. Resnick was later deposed in the civil trial.
