People's 11 / Plaintiffs' 9 — Raised-Arm Injury Photograph

Safe-deposit-box photograph showing Nicole Brown Simpson with her right arm raised, a large bruise on the arm or underarm area, and injuries to the right side of her head and forehead; it was designated criminal People's 11 and civil Plaintiffs' 9 or Photograph No. 9. Darden represented that Denise Brown took it and later described it as taken three to four days after the January 1989 beating; in civil closing argument, Kelly described additional facial, lip, throat, and underarm injuries.
