Criminal People's Exhibits 17–19: letters found in a safe-deposit box
Three letters written by O.J. Simpson and found in Nicole Brown Simpson's safe-deposit box: a six-page handwritten letter with envelope, a two-page letter with envelope, and a two-page letter. They were introduced as People's Exhibits 17, 18, and 19. The letters were collectively characterized as apologies or expressions of remorse concerning the 1989 incident, a characterization disputed during cross-examination.
