Robert Shapiro called Bosco as a witness for direct examination on August 1, 1995; in the preceding day's offer of proof, Shapiro said Bosco was expected to confirm that a source had told him DNA test results were in on socks recovered from the bedroom, information similar to that reported by journalist Savage.
