Jury instructions

Date: Friday, June 23, 1995 • Utterances: 1
Judge Ito dismisses the jury for the weekend recess with standard admonitions. He notes the afternoon session will proceed without the jury, with three pending motions to be argued by counsel. A brief, routine end-of-week dismissal.
1 THE COURT:

All right. All right. Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to take our recess at this time. Dr. Weir, you can step down. Please remember all my admonitions; do not discuss the case amongst yourselves, don't form any opinions about the case, don't allow anybody to communicate with you and do not conduct any deliberations until the matter has been submitted to you. Just for your information, we'll be in session on this case this afternoon with just the lawyers. We have three motions to take up. So we'll be busy while you're probably out at the movies. So enjoy the weekend, and we'll see you back--I'm going to ask you all, however, to step back in the jury room for a few minutes. I need to take up a few things with the lawyers. Then I'll excuse you for the afternoon. All right. Have a nice weekend.
